Welcome to the
Lebanon Fire Department (LFD)

Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Lebanon Fire Department is to enhance the quality of life of all those we serve. We will respond safely and quickly with trained, skilled, and compassionate members, and using the best available equipment, neutralize or reverse any situation of those in need. We will continue aggressive planning and response preparation, and will strive to prevent the need for our emergency services through education and community interaction. Our services shall be delivered by a dedicated family of members committed to exceeding the needs and expectations of those we serve.

Deputy Chief Jason Lee

Message from the Chief

As the Fire Chief, I have the honor to work with a dedicated group of professional firefighters who are committed to providing the fire and life safety needs of our community.

Our number 1 goal in the Lebanon Fire Department is to provide quality and professional service to our community in respect to saving and protecting lives and property through our EMS and firefighting efforts as well as providing excellent services in investigation, fire prevention and fire code enforcement. Our most important asset is our dedicated group of committed and highly trained individuals who make up our department.

We offer more than just responding to emergencies. We have an outstanding Juvenile Firesetters program which offers counseling to troubled youth and referral to programs that can work for them. Visits to schools, daycares and other programs are made available to the public to educate our youth, young adults and adults of all ages. These programs are extremely important as statistics show that the average person calls 911 only once in their lifetime so these initial contacts with your Firefighters will have a positive lifetime effect. We hope you will join our "team" by educating yourself and your family to be as fire safety conscious as possible.

Finally, I would like to thank every member of our community for his or her continued spirit of support and collaboration in matters of fire and life safety. Be safe !!

Jason Lee

"Dedicated to maintaining the highest professional standards while serving the community in which we work and live"

Promoting the community, economic development, planning for the future and providing Fiscal responsibility is utmost importance as we improve the quality of life of our Citizens. As Mayor, I will work with State and local officials as well as local business Owners to attract high paying jobs to Lebanon. By partnering with the Chamber of Commerce, Boone County Economic Development Corporation, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Boone County Commissioners, Superintendent of Schools and the Community Vision Committee, I will strive to make Lebanon a destination community.
