Lebanon Stormwater Department
Projects
Elm Swamp Road Storm Water Project will begin the first of August through October of 2011.
The Engineering design of this storm project was performed by Bill Leber of Wessler Engineering. The engineering estimate for the project was $410,800.00 and a low bid of $328,429.00 was given by Atlas Excavating. The bids were reviewed by the engineer and the low bid was accepted. The project will begin the first of August and should be completed by the end of October.
The Project consists of line structure ranging from 24 inch Small at the outfall of Reynolds Ditch and ending at Angilee Way with a 12 inch pipe. There are 10 storm manholes and 20 inlet structure as well as an Aqua Swirl unit to mechanically trap debris and improve the water quality.

The road will remain open during construction but we ask that drivers use caution during construction. There will be road cuts that will require one side of the road to be closed for the pipe installation. Once the pipe is installed and filled in it will be plated and the other side of the road will be excavated. Please be patient with the contractors as they work through this process. For those that are not very patient, you may wish to re-route to Grant Street and around.
Please contact Steve Large or Robert Waples at 765.482.8843 if you have any concerns.
Sincerely,
Robert E. Waples
W, WW & SW Operations Manager
